The system works through a simple three-step process: operators generate vouchers, distribute them to dealers, and subscribers purchase and redeem these vouchers to recharge their accounts.

Subscribers can recharge through whichever channel they prefer—SMS, USSD, IVR, retail stores, or banking outlets—using PIN or PIN-less methods.

PPVS handles the complete voucher lifecycle, starting with creation and provisioning, continuing with subscriber redemption and real-time recharging, and concluding with expiry and archiving.

  • Blacklist, Reinstate, and Delete Vouchers: Blacklist or delete vouchers suspected of fraud or theft to prevent redemption; reinstate them if needed for subscriber use.
  • Secure Voucher Distribution: Vouchers are encrypted with Pretty Good Privacy (PGP) before distribution to dealers to prevent interception, tampering, or unauthorised access.
